Recommended Texts

Gabbe vs. Williams - First of all, Williams is written by Parkland docs in Texas.  Gabbe is written by docs in SoCal.  So, naturally, the Gabbe text is more congruent with the practice styles of our perinatalogists at ARMC and RCRMC.  On the other hand, everyone says Williams is the "bible" of obstetrics.  More to the point, Gabbe is easier to read especially when you are tired!  "I like Gabbe, it's easier to read!" Carlo Garibaldi, DO (ARMC Alum 2007)

TeLinde vs. Novak vs. Mishell - All gynecology texts are not made equal. But there is so much to learn, so almost any one will do for starters.  Dr. Gambone and Dr. Meshri prefer Novak as an all-in-one text.  The Wheeless Atlas and/or Baggish Atlas are a helpful adjuncts.  "I use TeLinde's Operative Gynecology and Mishell's Comprehensive Gynecology texts.  They compliment each other very well." Lauren Prewitt, DO R4.

What should I read for Endocrine? Leon Speroff is THE ONLY TEXT!

What should I read for ONC? Clinical Gynecologic Oncology by Philip J. DiSaia or Synopsis of Gynecologic Oncology by C. Paul Morrow - recommended by Dr Lyons!
